SwingIQ Golf Tracker

Support

Help with rounds, optional permissions, exports, and App Store purchases.

Start or resume a round

Open the Round tab, select a course and tees, then start the round. If iOS closes the app, open SwingIQ again and use the active-round prompt to resume. SwingIQ constrains the resumed hole to the saved round’s valid hole range.

Location permission

Location is optional. When you grant When In Use access, SwingIQ can attach the device location available at the moment you explicitly log a shot. It does not request background location and v1 does not calculate live GPS distance to the green. Change access in iOS Settings at any time.

Apple Health permission

Apple Health is optional. If enabled, SwingIQ reads step count for round activity and may save a golf workout with estimated walking/running distance and active energy. A HealthKit write error does not erase the saved golf round.

Purchases and restoration

Apple processes SwingIQ purchases. Open the Me tab, choose Upgrade, and use Restore Purchases below the purchase button while signed into the Apple ID used for the original transaction. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID account settings. Refund requests are handled at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Export or delete data

Completed-round screens can export round information as CSV or PDF using the iOS share sheet. SwingIQ v1 does not create a developer account or cloud record to delete. Deleting the app removes its local app container; Apple-controlled device backups are managed separately in iOS.
