Privacy Policy

Effective July 18, 2026

SwingIQ v1 is a local-first iPhone app. It does not require an account and does not send your golf, location, Health, or purchase information to a developer-operated server.

1. Golf and profile data

Optional profile details, courses, rounds, scores, shots, clubs, estimates, and preferences are stored in the app’s local data container on your iPhone. SwingIQ v1 does not use CloudKit or a developer cloud database to sync this information.

2. Location

If you grant When In Use location permission, precise coordinates available when you explicitly log a shot may be attached to that local shot record. SwingIQ does not request background location, does not transmit location to the developer, and does not use location for live distance-to-green measurements in v1.

3. Apple Health

If you opt in, SwingIQ reads step count to estimate activity during a round. It may save a golf workout with estimated walking/running distance and active energy to Apple Health. It does not write step-count samples. Apple Health data is not transmitted to the developer and is not used for advertising, tracking, or eligibility decisions.

4. Purchases

Apple processes purchases and provides StoreKit entitlement status to the app. SwingIQ does not receive your full payment-card details and does not send purchase information to a third-party subscription or analytics service.

5. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The SwingIQ iPhone app contains no third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, tracking pixel, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell personal information. If you separately choose to share diagnostics with app developers through Apple’s settings, Apple may provide crash or performance diagnostics under Apple’s policies.

6. Export, retention, and deletion

Exports are created only when you request them and are handled through the iOS share sheet. Local data remains until you delete it through available app controls or remove the app. Apple-controlled device backups are governed by your iOS backup settings.

7. These support pages

The SwingIQ pages at gusdigitalsolutions.com/swingiq/ do not load Google Analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels. Cloudflare may process ordinary access and security logs as the hosting provider under its own privacy terms.

8. Children and changes

SwingIQ is a general-audience recreational golf app and is not directed to children under 13. This policy may be updated when the app’s actual data practices change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
