IronLog — Delete Account
Last Updated: July 25, 2026
1. What gets deleted
IronLog stores your account identity (the email you used for Apple Sign-In and any in-app purchase receipt we link to it) on our servers. Your workout data lives on your device — it does not sync to our servers by default.
- Your account record (email, anonymized device fingerprint, purchase receipt linkage)
- Any anonymous usage analytics associated with your account
- Server-side cache of your last-known Pro entitlement state
Workout history, training notes, PRs, and streaks remain on your device until you delete the app.
2. What's kept (and why)
- Anonymized aggregate stats — e.g. "X% of users logged a workout in week N." No identifying info.
- Records required by law — purchase receipts are retained for the period required by tax/accounting law (typically 7 years), but with your identifying information removed.
3. How to delete your account
From the iOS app (recommended):
- Open IronLog.
- Tap Settings (gear icon, top-right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm with Face ID / Touch ID.
- Tap Delete Forever.
Account deletion completes immediately. Your workout data on this device is also cleared.
If you can't open the app: Email gus@gusdigitalsolutions.com from the address associated with your account with the subject "Delete My Account". We will process the deletion within 1 business day.
4. Remove iCloud-backed data
If you enabled iCloud sync, your local data may also be in your private iCloud database. To remove the iCloud copy:
- Open Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
- Find IronLog in the app list.
- Tap Delete Data.
- Confirm deletion.
5. Cancelling your subscription
Account deletion cancels the subscription going forward, but you remain responsible for any charges already incurred. To request a refund for a recent charge, follow Apple's standard refund process.
